By creating an account or using FacultySphere, you agree to these Terms.
FacultySphere services
FacultySphere is an academic management platform designed to help administrators, professors, and students manage services such as:
- Timetables
- Classes
- Attendance
- Quizzes
- Academic information
- Notifications
- Communication
- Reports
- Other academic management features
Accounts and security
Users must provide accurate information when creating or completing an account.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account and login credentials.
Accounts must not be shared with unauthorized persons.
Roles and authorized access
FacultySphere may provide different access levels for:
- Students
- Professors
- Administrators
Users may only use features authorized for their assigned role.
Attempting to obtain unauthorized access to another role, account, class, department, or institution is prohibited.
Academic information
Academic data displayed in FacultySphere may be entered or managed by educational institutions, administrators, professors, or authorized users.
Users should contact their institution or authorized administrator if they believe timetable, attendance, examination, or other academic information is incorrect.
Attendance
Attendance recorded by authorized professors or administrators may be treated as the official record within FacultySphere.
Students must not attempt to manipulate attendance information.
FacultySphere may provide attendance reports and calculations based on information entered by authorized users.
Quizzes and assessments
Students must submit quiz responses honestly.
Unauthorized attempts to manipulate results, access answers, interfere with assessments, or exploit application vulnerabilities are prohibited.
Professors and administrators are responsible for reviewing results where human academic judgment is required.
Communication features
FacultySphere communication features must be used for lawful and appropriate purposes.
Users must not send:
- Harassing content
- Threatening content
- Spam
- Illegal material
- Malicious files
- Content that violates another person's rights
Private messages may be protected using encryption and security measures supported by FacultySphere's infrastructure.
Do not claim that every chat is end-to-end encrypted unless that functionality has actually been implemented.
Subscriptions and pricing
Some FacultySphere services may require a paid subscription.
Available plans, prices, billing periods, trials, renewals, and other terms will be shown before purchase.
Prices may change for future purchases or renewals where legally permitted and with appropriate notice where required.
Free trials
A free trial may be limited to eligible accounts.
FacultySphere may restrict a user to one free trial.
Creating multiple accounts to repeatedly obtain a free trial may result in suspension or restriction.
Payment and cancellation
Payments may be handled by authorized third-party payment providers.
Users are responsible for ensuring that payment information and authorization are valid.
Third-party payment processing may also be governed by the payment provider's terms.
Users may cancel subscriptions through the applicable payment or subscription management method.
Where applicable, access may continue until the end of the already-paid billing period.
No duplicate active subscription should be intentionally created for the same account and plan.
Refunds
A refund will only be provided if the payment is deducted from your account but the subscription is not activated. Refunds will not be issued in any other case.
Prohibited use
Users must not:
- Hack or reverse engineer the service where prohibited by law
- Circumvent access controls
- Manipulate attendance
- Manipulate quiz results
- Impersonate other users
- Abuse messaging systems
- Distribute malware
- Attempt unauthorized database access
- Interfere with FacultySphere servers or services
Suspension and termination
FacultySphere may suspend or terminate access where a user:
- Violates these Terms
- Attempts unauthorized access
- Engages in fraud
- Misuses academic systems
- Threatens platform security
- Uses the service unlawfully
Where appropriate, reasonable notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue may be provided.
Service availability
FacultySphere aims to provide reliable services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Services may occasionally be unavailable because of:
- Maintenance
- Internet connectivity
- Third-party service outages
- Firebase/cloud outages
- Device problems
- Security incidents
- Technical failures
Intellectual property
FacultySphere's software, branding, logos, interfaces, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Users may not copy, sell, distribute, or commercially exploit FacultySphere intellectual property without authorization.
Third-party services
FacultySphere may integrate services provided by other companies, such as authentication, cloud hosting, notifications, and payment processing.
Use of third-party services may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
Academic information disclaimer
FacultySphere provides technology for academic management.
FacultySphere does not guarantee that information entered by institutions, professors, administrators, or other authorized users is always accurate.
Important academic decisions should be confirmed with the relevant institution where appropriate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FacultySphere will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from unauthorized use, internet outages, inaccurate third-party/user-entered information, device issues, or circumstances reasonably outside our control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to these terms
FacultySphere may update these Terms as the service evolves.
Material changes may be communicated through the app, website, email, or other appropriate means.
Continued use after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
Governing law
These Terms will be governed by the applicable laws of India, unless another jurisdiction is legally required.
